The Beginning Of The Rest Of My Life

In March of 2002 my life would change more than I would ever imagine. I was in a rough spot in my life. I was getting over a guy I loved, in the process of leaving another guy who was my rebound, and dealing with my father who was very ill. I started drinking somewhat heavily, I got into doing ecstacy every chance I could. Then one weekend a good friend of mine wanted to go to Daytona Spring Break. A group of his friends brought some people along too. I think like ten of us ended up actually taking the trip. All of us were getting as fucked up as we could. We had alcohol, cocaine, ecstacy, and who knows what else. We got halfway to Daytona and decided to make a pit stop so some of us could take a piss or whatever. Some of the guys with us decided it was a good time to do a couple of lines before getting back on the road. We finally made it down there and started walking down the strip. I was so fucked up I could hardly think for myself. I was flashing guys walking down the road to get beads left and right. Then after some time I felt to hands grab me by my shoulders and start to massage my back. Yeah I know being on ecstacy enhances your your sensitivity by like a thousand, but something felt stronger than the drug itself. I turned around and there he was. Jesse and I started talking and by the time we made it back to the vehicle we would be riding in for awhile we were the new hottest couple. I'll never forget him holding me and looking into my eyes telling me "You're my new baby!" It was silly, but sweet and I liked it. Within two weeks of that day we were living together, a month after that I became pregnant, and by October 24th, 2002 my new name would be Trisha Lynn Smith. On April 6th, 2003 I gave birth to our beautiful baby girl Amara Leigh...
